What Happened in September
I mentioned in the previous post about a great piece of software. It was released a few weeks ago and was included as one of the tools in the Thirty Day Challenge. Currently it is still being developed, but even in the pre full version release I have to say it is one one the best tools I have seen if you are serious about niche marketing on the internet. It is called Market Samurai. I am not even going to attempt to describe what it can do here. I would just say go to the website and check it out. One of the things it has allowed me to do is keyword research for a particular niche. Armed with the information I have managed to get one of the 1ton sub-domains a Google PR of two. The sub-domain has only been up since July 17, so not a bad effort. It is also listed in DMOZ without any intervention on my part. It ranks number 5 out of 182,000 on a broadmatch search in Google and number 5 on phrasematch search out of 34,400. The sub-domain had received 929 unique visitors during September with a total of 2323 visits. 876 of these unique visits were from Google. OK, I guess you are wondering which sub-domain it is?? Funny Limericks For Everyone The keyword used is guess what? funny limericks. Check the results yourself in Google search. This sub-domain is not going to allow me to retire in luxury, but it has proved the effectiveness of Market Samurai. At the moment you can download the trial version which lasts for 40 days. The price for the full version will be $149 when it is released.
